About Us

The East Side Basketball Club (ESBC) Escalades is one of the premier AAU basketball programs in NYC.  We are a comprehensive and competitive basketball program which provides professional instruction and multiple practice/workouts each week. We have several try-out based girls and boys competitive AAU basketball teams. 

ESBC has been developing players in Manhattan for over 15 years and our director has successfully trained players well over 20 years. Coach Mike is well known in the Manhattan youth basketball community as a coach who can develop solid fundamental players who scholastic level coaches love to coach. He has handpicked a team of trainers and coaches who all develop girls and boys into assets at any level team or program they participate in.

Our team practices are all in Manhattan on the Upper East and West Side, Midtown and West Harlem and are scheduled to provide multiple opportunities each week so families can find a time that works for them. See the schedule tab for practice times and locations.

ESBC offers scholarships based on merit and need.

AAU Girls and Boys teams are all Fall/Winter long except High School. High School teams only participate in the fall as they are active on their school teams in the winter.
